A certified translation (in Czech soudní překlad, often called a sworn translation) is made by a translator registered with the Czech Ministry of Justice. The translator attaches a certification clause and an official round seal and binds the translation firmly to the original or a certified copy. This is the only kind of translation that Czech authorities, courts, registry offices and schools accept.
Certified translations from CZK 449 per standard page. Available on paper or with an electronic certification clause.

Frequently asked questions
Will a Czech authority accept a translation made abroad?
Usually not. Czech authorities require a translation by a translator registered in the Czech Republic. The exception is a translation certified by a Czech embassy or consulate, or documents covered by an international agreement – if unsure, ask the authority.
Do I need an apostille?
That depends on the country that issued the document and on the authority you submit it to. The translator translates the document including the apostille; the apostille itself is issued by the authorities of the issuing country.
Can I get a certified translation by e-mail?
Yes – with an electronic certification clause. It has the same legal effect as the paper version when submitted electronically.
How do you write my name?
Write in the note how your name is spelled in your passport. This is especially important for documents in Cyrillic.
