Translating contracts is a discipline of its own: one imprecise word can change the meaning of an obligation. That is why our contracts are translated by translators who specialise in law and use terminology that matches the legal system of the target country. We translate employment, commercial, purchase and lease contracts between Czech and more than 30 languages – as a standard or certified translation.
Why leave contract translation to specialists
A contract binds you and the other party, often for years. Even a native speaker does not always understand every legal phrase, and with a foreign-language contract the risk of misunderstanding is even greater. An accurate translation ensures you know what you are signing and that the contract cannot be interpreted ambiguously.
What we translate
- commercial contracts, framework and cooperation agreements, contracts for work
- employment contracts, agreements and amendments
- purchase, lease and leasing contracts
- non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and licence agreements
- terms and conditions and contractual documentation
- applications, official forms and court documents – claims, judgments, appeals
Confidentiality
Contracts contain sensitive information. All our translators are bound by a non-disclosure agreement, documents are stored in a secure customer account and the translator works with the text solely for the purpose of the translation.
Certified contract translation
For an authority, a court or the Czech land registry you usually need a certified translation. We issue it on paper or with an electronic clause, from CZK 449 per standard page.
